7:28 Studios
The thing is......
When Covid was still only a nasty smell in the Wuhan exotic meats trade, my partner and I had just begun work on our first album. As the pandemic spread and we plunged headlong into lockdown, recording was forced out of the studio and into our kitchen, where to my surprise and with a bit of online guidance, I seemed to get the hang of the Protools recording software - something I'd always thought was the preserve of a specialised breed called studio engineers. Suddenly, to my great surprise, I was able to record my own music.
Long story short, we recorded an album and released it on the artist-controlled service bandcamp.com. During the hiatus between lockdowns, I was lucky enough to be offered an amazing space in a 1930s building with parquet floors and original windows that had been the main offices of an engineering works and 7:28 Studios became a reality.

But that old trope about only doing one thing all your life? Well, that's not me. I've always tried to do what I thought I was good at. Mostly this has been playing music, but I also do photography and write stories and creative content if anyone asks.

We're now onto our second album and this Christmas (2024), Jeannie bought me Logic, so I'm busy getting to grips with that
